If you get bored during the holiday then why not design and make a poster about one of the trees in the nature trail. The poster should be on A4 size paper and can be printed, hand written or a collage. It should contain pictures and information about any of the types of tree in the nature trail. The trees we need information about include ash, oak, beech, lime, hornbeam, rowan, maple and cherry. The best one for each tree will be laminated and put on display for the Havering in Bloom competition.
All entries should be handed in to Mr Johnson by Friday 6th June.

INFORMATION SHEET FOR
SHROPSHIRE TRIP
Please ensure that all clothes, shoes, bags, etc. are named so that we can identify the owner if they get lost.
Children must travel to and from
Shropshire in their Parklands tops. This makes things easier at service stations.
Luggage
Please restrict this to one piece of luggage, preferably a holdall and one piece of hand luggage. Metal framed rucksacks should be avoided as they are difficult to fit in the coach.
Clothing
ALL CLOTHING SHOULD BE OLD AND LABELLED.
Jumpers, sweatshirts, tracksuits, trousers/jogging bottoms, t-shirts, shorts, underwear, nightwear, 4 towels, hat, gloves, thick socks, but no denim items. Walking boots/stout comfortable shoes/wellies and trainers (at least 2 pairs, one of which can be thrown away). Pony trekking groups will need to bring boots or shoes with a heel (suitable for stirrups)
ALL PUPILS MUST HAVE A WATERPROOF CAGOULE/JACKET.
A torch, 3 black bin liners, a couple of carrier bags for changes of clothes for wet activities and a small rucksack for the hill walk, although this can be the same bag used for the coach journey. Please put your child’s name on these too.
Sleeping
Pillow case and sleeping bag.
Further information will follow later in the term.
