June 17th, 2008 by parklandspaperThis year Parklands took part in the annual athletics event @ Hornchurch Sports Stadium. Schools from all over Northern Havering took part. Stars of track and field were once again out to shine as the weather was perfect for athletics. Children ran distances from 65m to 85m in heats to decide which children will go through to the semi-finals, which is a big achievement already.
These children qualified for the Semi-Finals which takes place Monday 23rd June at Hornchurch stadium.
Sprint: Jake Joliffe, Loius Ridding, Greta Kurkauskaite,Harry Clifford, Olivia Davies, Rachel Ogedengbe, Harlie Clarke, Amaa Enwo and Stephanie Quinn.
